Over 60 antique dealers make the city one of the oldest and largest centers of antique trade in the west.

Rainfall averages 23.3 inches per year with the wettest month in January, 4.46 inches, and the driest month in August, 0.10 inches. The weather from May through October is perfect for outdoor activities when the average temperatures range from 66° through 78°.
